Wellington Lockdown
Week One
Congratulations everyone! We smashed week one for six! Feels a bit like the quiet before the storm for some reason, but pretty chill here. Looking forwards to the bunch of new budding bakers opening bakeries once all this is over. For the chefs out there, flick us ya dish pics or ya veg pics (looking for inspiration). I hope you enjoy this overly cinematic movie of the little things.
Week Two
This is our week two of lockdown. Featuring Mount Cook/Newtown (which was buzzing with Newtown fest only a month ago!), Autumn vibes, exotic bears and native birds, floating bubbles, a virtual Colombian family reunion and Arepas! I wanted to make something that captured the little things and that reminds us to pay more attention. Even though we're all stuck in our bubbles there’s amazing stuff all around that’s normally invisible in our fast paced lives before lockdown. I’ve definitely learned (been forced) to slow down. So I hope this helps everyone chill out and look up.
Week Three
I'm realising that every week in lockdown is basically exactly the same. So this new video is another instalment of exactly the same. Stay home, go for a walk, bake something, repeat. But still, anyone else see the epic super-moon? And thanks Harry Green for the exquisite hot cross buns (it was like watching a scientist bake). Also wtf, Autumn is the new Summer? Keep staying safe.
Week Zero
This footage was shot over the days leading up to lockdown lvl 4, when it all seemed so surreal and intense; mad office equipment runs, Jacinda's 'oval office' style addresses, flour hoarding, bubble picking etc. Now it just feels relatively normal. We just ran out of granola today, gotta make some more. Also gotta water the plants and decide which board game to play
